The task

Develop a moisture-resistant and heat-resistant underwater electric motor

Our solution

Several factors had to be taken into account during the development: one of these factors was that there was only limited space available for the motor. The motor must also provide strong magnetic moments and be impervious to moisture in the event that water should penetrate the motor compartment.

For this reason, we decided to develop particularly thin-walled, space-saving segment magnets with a high magnetic field density that generate considerable magnetic energy in a very small space. We also constructed it using anti-corrosive and heat-resistant magnetic material, which ensures a particularly long service life for the motor.
