Rectangular Electro Magnets
Along with round electro magnets, we also offer a rectangular version. It too is switched on and off via direct current and has the same properties as round electro magnets. These products also have no wearing parts thanks to their design.
Maximum holding forces depend on the material thickness of the anchor and the air gap that may occur, e.g. the surface roughness of the material. The holding force is 90% of the rated voltage of the electro magnets (when at operating temperature).

What are electromagnets?
Electromagnets are magnetic devices that are activated by an electric current. They consist of a coil wound around a ferromagnetic core.
-
How do electromagnets work?
When current flows through the coil, it generates a magnetic field that magnetizes the ferromagnetic core. This allows the electromagnet to attract or repel objects.
-
What are the applications of electromagnets?
Electromagnets are used in various fields, including automation technology, electric motors, door locks, and medical devices.
-
Are electromagnets safe?
Yes, electromagnets are generally safe as long as they are used according to the manufacturer’s instructions. However, it is important to follow the electrical specifications to prevent overheating or other problems.
-
How do I choose the right electromagnet?
Selecting the right electromagnet depends on various factors, including the required holding force, operating conditions, and power supply. It is advisable to consult with us.
