The task

Develop high-quality plastic trims for a well-known German car manufacturer.

Our solution

The IATF standard manufacturing specifications in the automotive industry are extremely demanding. In order to produce the highest quality – especially for the final surface coating of our trims – a perfect balance between mold design and injection molding parameters was required.

First, we developed the appropriate tool. As we progressed, we paid close attention to features such as elimination of stress during the cooling process, shrinkage, possible porosity, and compliance with LABS-compliant requirements. The result: high-quality, durable trims that have been applied to the vehicle in the final polish as a sporty, visual highlight.
