Self-aligning Ball Bearings

Self-aligning ball bearings are comprised of two rows of balls with a common hollow ball raceway in the outer ring and two deep raceway grooves in the inner ring. They are available either with or without a seal on the open side. The bearings are not susceptible to misalignment of the shaft in relation to the housing, which could, for example, be caused by shaft deflection.
